ASTM A193 B7

AASTM A193 B7 heavy hex head bolts are made from heat-treated alloy steel AISI 4140/4142 for strength and quenched/tempered for durability. Dimensions conform to ASME B18.2.1. Grade markings include the "B7" symbol and manufacturer's mark. These bolts are often used in flange bolting and ideal for high-pressure/high-temperature applications. Bigger heads distribute clamping force over a wider area. Bolts smaller than 1/2" may be finished pattern. Above 1", common 8UN/UNC threading is offered.
